Heliotrope ceramics are created in my Paris studio (and wherever the wind takes me).
I started out in a spare room with a sink in my apartment - a former artist’s studio also.
A few months later, in the fall of 2023, I took on a larger space, not far from my place.
Since then I have shared the studio with Madoka, a Japanese artist, pictured below.
We like to talk about glaze, love and food while sipping tea in our bamboo garden.
I feel very lucky to have found this talented and kind soul who cheers and inspires me.
We enjoy wheel throwing and hand building, and offer classes across both practices.
We sometimes host sales and parties, and love having friends/ neighbors/ visitors over.
